Stop Hunger Now

The Suffolk Rotary Club partnered with the Churchland Rotary Club, North Suffolk Rotary Club, Portsmouth Rotary Club, Smithfield Rotary Club, Ebenezer United Methodist and Churchand the Churchland Baptist Church for a STOP HUNGER NOW event held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Family Life Center.

The Suffolk Rotary Club contributed $2,500 towards this project. Approximately 40 members of the Suffolk Rotary Club helped package high-protein, dehydrated meals for use around the globe.  These packaged meals provide emergency food for use in crisis situations, but even more importantly, provide a highly nutritious food product for use in school feeding programs and orphanages around the world.
